Halloween is my stepmom’s favorite holiday. She always goes out with a gang of her girlfriends while my stepdad goes out with all of his buddies. I’m shocked when I hear Jane yelling at her friends on the phone. They are all blowing her off to take their ‘mouth breathers’ trick or treating. I feel so bad for Jane. She’s such a great stepmom. What the hell, I go put on a costume and come down to surprise her with the news that I’M taking her out this year!
